Teaching & Leadership
January 2023 - March 2024
In my sophomore year, I took organic chemistry and surprisingly enjoyed it. However, I found that other students struggled and often complained about the lack of resources available for such an important class. Thus, my friend and I reached out to our professor and started a volunteer tutoring club to provide students with extra support! Our instagram can be found below:

A worksheet I designed
For this club, I designed resources for open accessibility and led weekly tutoring workshops to support student learning. Some weeks, I had up to 30 students join my sessions! Eventually, our club expanded to recruit more student tutors and board directors.

Our board and tutors
Unfortunately, I stepped away from this club to focus on my engineering commitments, but I still learn a lot from it. I experienced starting an organization from scratch and leading it to become something greater than just a couple of students, helping students succeed in their education!
